Mr. and Mrs. Earl Quitmeyer report having received word from their daughter Iola of the WAVES that she had completed her first course of training in New York and was being sent elsewhere for further training.

Maynard Girl Is Waves Member
Maynard, Ia. -- Iola Quitmyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Quitmyer who on June 18 was sworn into the Waves, is now stationed at New River, N.C., where she will be given the rating of pharmacist's mate third class after a four weeks' course. Her basic training was taken at Hunter college, New York.
