Coe Corner
Elaine Wehrman '44, Y 1/c, USNR, is secretary to the district director of the Women's Reserve at the U.S. Naval Barracks in New York City. She reports having had dinner with Lt. Joan Morr '44 of the Army Nurse Corps recently. Lieutenant Morr, daughter of Mrs. Anna M. Morr, 1153 G avenue NW, Cedar Rapids, is preparing for overseas duty.
Miss Wehrman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wehrman of Eldora, has been stationed in New York City since entering the service in April 1943.

Men and Women in the Service of Their Country
First Lt. Joan L. Morr, daughter of Mrs. Anna M. Morr, 1153 C avenue NW, has been relieved as general duty nurse at the 174th Station hospital, Luzon, Philippines Islands, and is enroute to the States for discharge. Lt. Morr enlisted in the army nurse corps in February of 1945, reporting overseas in August. She is a graduate nurse of the University of Iowa.
