Tama, Ia. -- Margaret Minor, who enlisted in the US army nurse corps recently, will report for active duty at Topeka, Kan., Tuesday, June 15. She is the daughter of Mrs. Anna Minor, of Tama, and is a graduate of Tama High school. Lt. Minor received her nurse's training at St. Thomas Mercy hospital at Marshalltown, and was graduated with the class of 1942. For the last year she has had a position as general duty nurse in St. Francis hospital at Waterloo.
