WOMEN IN SERVICE

Miss Laura Mae Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. F. Miller, 1029 East Market street, has received her commission as a second lieutenant in the army nurse corps. She will leave tomorrow for Camp Carson, Colo., for three weeks basic training.

Lieut. Miller is a graduate of Iowa City high school and the University of Iowa school of nursing.

Second Lieutenant Laura Mae Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H.F. Miller, 1029 East Market street, has arrived home on a 10-day leave from O'Reilly General hospital in Springfield, Mo.

WOMEN IN SERVICE

Lieut. Laura Mae Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H.F. Miller, 1029 East Market street has arrived in the Pacific theater of operations with the army nurses corps. First landing on Saipan, she was later transferred to Guam where she is now stationed with the 204th General hospital. Lieut Miller is a graduate of Iowa City high school and the University of Iowa school of nursing.
