WOMEN IN SERVICE

Edythe C. Maxwell of Iowa City was a member of the women's auxiliary corps unit which left Ft. Des Moines recently for duty with the army at Marana, Ariz. WAAC units are now at work with the army in more than 20 states and overseas.

More than Half of Iowa WACs Have Immediate Kin in Service

Des Moines - More than 50 per cent of Iowa women serving in the Women's Auxiliary corps come from families which has at least one other member on the service.
