A gentle breeze on the Anzio beachhead blows a suit of heavy underwear, held by Iowa nurse, Ruth Ann Lowell (right) of Ottumwa, Ia., and Julia M. Jurgel of Haverhill, Mass. The nurse, lieutenants in the army, recently arrived at the beachhead and were issues the under garments for a cold spell.
