Miss Kirk Is Engaged
Mr. and Mrs. T.M. Kirk of West Des Moines announce the engagement of their daughter, Janice, and Walter E. Shotwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Showell, 751 Sixteenth st. The wedding will take place in the summer
Miss Kirk, a graduate of Valley High school, returned three months ago from Hawaii where she served two years with the Marines Corps Women's reserve. She is now enrolled at Drake university.
Mr. Shotwell, recently discharged from the army air forces, served three years in the India- Burma theater. He is enrolled at Drake university.
