Lenora Irene “Holly” Hopkins Ellis was born July 5, 1922 to Bryan W. and Ethel I. Waterman Hopkins. She died Oct. 29, 2013 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
Lenora served in World War II with the U.S. Navy WAVES, stationed at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. She was married to Dewey Allen Ellis, Jr. LtJG Ellis also served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.
