ADVANCED IN RANK -- Miss Frankie Louise Holt, ANC, has been advanced from the rank of 2nd to first lieutenant somewhere in England, relatives in Clear Lake learned Thursday. Lt Holt is a daughter of Frank Holt, Wentworth, S. Dak. and a sister of Mrs. Clarence Graper, Rockford and Donald Holt, Clear Lake. She is a niece of Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Holt, 1201 E. Main street, Clear Lake, with whom she made her home till graduation from high school. A brother, Lester Holt, was killed in action April 28, 1944, in New Guinea where he was with an anti-tank division. Lt. Holt has been in England nearly a year.
