Miss Peggy Heneman Joins Nurse Corps

Omaha, Nebr. -- Maj. Gen. C.H. Danielson, commanding general of the seventh service command with headquarters in Omaha, Saturday released the information that Miss Peggy Heneman has been appointed a second lieutenant in the army nurse corps and will report for duty at Camp Carson, Colo., on or about Feb.21 to begin the necessary period of army training.

Following the training period, Lt. Heneman will be assigned to an installation or unit now experiencing a critical shortage of nurses.

Lt. Heneman is visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.C. Heneman, 32 Vermont S.E., before leaving for Camp Carson. She completed her training at the University of Minnesota in December, taking the 5 year course and specializing in public health nursing.
