Ruth Hauge, yeoman, second class, and June Hauge, seaman, first class, both in the WAVES, have returned to their bases after spending leaves with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.G. Hauge, 1174 Eighteenth st. Ruth returned to Patuxent River, Md., and June to Norman, Okla.

The 1940 census shows Ruth Hauge as daughter of Edward G. and Nettie, living in Des Moines, Polk Co., IA.
Ruth L. Hauge in Des Moines, IA (Ancestry) Occupation: Women’s Reserve, US Naval Reserve in 1946.
Also found her in the Ellsworth News, Ellsworth, IA - Feb. 24, 1965 listed as a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Hauge, Des Moines who was present to help her parents celebrate their 60th anniversary.
