LEAVE FOR TRAINING -- The four young women will leave tonight for Des Moines to start basic training with the WACS. They are: Back row, left to right, Hope Harper, Wilton, Ia. and Miss Lucille Wagner, River View terrace, Bettendorf.
Front row, left to right, Patricia Ripperton, 2510 Oak street, Bettendorf and Mrs. Wilma Koontz, 505 West Sixth street, Davenport. Miss Harper and Miss Ripperton are entering the army air corps upon completion of their basic training and Miss Wagner will got to Lexington, Va., for special training in rehabilitation work.

VISITING PARENTS
Wilton, Ia. -- Pfc. Hope Harper of the WAC, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Harper while enroute from Pine Bluff, Ark., to Camp Fannin, Texas, to a new assignment.
