Ensign Margery Hargrove

 

 

Three Des Moines WAVES were commissioned ensigns recently upon completion of officer training at Northampton, Mass. All are graduates of the State University of Iowa and hold bachelor of arts degrees. They are:

Miss Elizabeth Anne Harvey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Harvey, 1408 E. Thirty-third st.; Miss Sarah Ellen Dawson, daughter of Mrs. Jennie K. Dawson, 1211 Twenty-first st.; and Miss Margery Hargrove, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Hargrove, 518 Fifty-eighth st.

The engagement of Ensign Margery Hargrove of the WAVES and Lt. Com. Richard L. Small, was recently announced by the bride-elects parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Hargrove, 518 Fifty-eighth st. Ensign Hargrove is stationed at Bethesda, Md., and Commander Small at Philadelphia, Penn. The latter's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ralph C. Small of West Medford, Mass.
