Des Moines in the Service
Pvt. Barbara Jane Forbes, WAC, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burt Forbes, 944 Twenty-sixth st., has been transferred from Fort Des Moines to Brooke hospital center, Fort Sam Houston, Tex.

Miss Forbes To Wed
Mr. and Mrs. Burt R. Forbes, 944 Twenty-sixth st., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Barbara Jane, and Donald Duane Stover, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merle Stover of Moline Il.
Miss Forbes was graduated from Drake university and received her M.A. degree from Michigan State college. Mr Stover attended Iowa State college at Ames.
Their wedding will be in October and the will live in Marshalltown where Mr. Stover is employed in research department of Lennox Furnace Co.
