Bettendorf WAAC to Air Base in Kansas
Miss Marguerite Fleming, a member of the Women's Army Auxiliary corps and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Canfield of Bettendorf, has completed her basic training at Fort Des Moines and has been assigned to the administrative department at the Smoky Hills army air base near Salina, Kan.
