TO WAAC CENTER

Miss Hazel G. Fisher, 1013 Mulberry street, left Waterloo Sunday for Daytona Beach, Fla. where she will take basic training in the women's army auxiliary corps. She was sworn into the WAAC in October. Miss Fisher has been employed here in the F.W. Woolworth company East Fourth street store.

WAC Hazel Fisher Helps Out

One of Waterloo's Air-WACs, Technician Fourth Grade Hazel G. Fisher, shown left above, is among those helping provide a homelike Christmas to the thousands of men and women at the Army Air Force training center, Chanute, Ill. Sergeant Fisher resided at 1013 Mulberry street before entering the service with the WAC. Others shown are left to right, Pfc. Shirley L. Fournier, Conn.; Pfc Ann H Teitelbaum, NY; and Pvt. Corbin L Lenhart, Tex.
