Northeast Iowan Join WAVES
Miss Louisa Engelland, 21, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claus Engelland of Gladbrook, was sworn in Wednesday at Des Moines, the second young woman of Tama county to go into the WAVES. She was born in Germany, lived there until 1925, and became an American citizen in 199. She has been employed in Gladbrook, and expects her call to the WAVES on 24-hour notice.
