Helen Marie Ellis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Edwin Ellis, 917 South street, who has been employed at Presbyterian hospital for the past year has been commissioned a second lieutenant in the army nurses corps. Lieutenant Ellis will leave July 2 to report to Camp Carson, Colo., for a period of army training. She was graduated from nursing school at Nampa, Ida., in 1942, and before work at Presbyterian was employed at Allen Memorial and St. Francis hospitals.
