Ruby Dixon, S.K. 3 C, who has completed her training in the SPARS at Palm Beach, Florida, arrived Sunday and is spending part of furlough with her mother, Mrs. Carrie Dixon. Miss Dixon will be stationed at Miami, Florida, upon her return to duty.

Miami, Fla. - SPAR Ruby Martha Dixon, now a storekeeper third class in the Coast Guard Women's Reserve, has been assigned to duty at Seventh naval district headquarters at Miami.

Storekeeper Dixon, the daughter of Mrs. Carrie Dixon, 1103 Adams St., Corning, Iowa, enlisted in the reserve corps of the nation's oldest military service at Kansas City, MO., in March. She received her indoctrination training at the SPAR training station, Palm Beach, and remained there for the storekeepers course. She reached her present rating on Oct. 27.

Mrs. E.H. Eledge, formerly Ruby Dixon, arrived in Corning Monday, to make an indefinite visit with her mother, Mrs. Carrie Dixon and family. Mrs. Eledge came here from South Carolina.
