Mrs. Mabel L. Dawson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Miller, 1132 Scott street, left today to begin her training with the WAC at Ft. Des Moines. She will receive specialized training as a medical technician following her basic instructions.
A former Davenport high school student, Mrs. Dawson has been employed by the Dempsey hotel. Her husband, Thomas Dawson, will leave for service next week.
