A new enlistee is the WAVES is "Freddie" Ruth Darby of 2926 Davenport avenue, Davenport, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Darby of Dallas Tex. She has been employed at the International Harvester Co. in Bettendorf.
Miss Darby has two brothers in the service, Sgt. A. Darby who is with the army in Italy, and Seaman, second class, Ed Darby, U.S.N. now in San Francisco, Calif.
