Sgt. Patricia Lea Crouse

 

 

Mrs. Patricia L. Crouse was recently promoted to technician fifth grade in the women's army corps at Fort Adams, R.I. Corporal Technician Crouse, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Haynes, 620 1/2 Grant avenue, is a staff chauffeur for the commanding officer She enlisted last March, prior to which she had been employed by McClellans Stores company. Her husband, Lt. R.V. Crouse, has been in north Africa for the past month. She is expected to be home on leave August 1.

Patricia Lea “Pat” Hayes Crouse was born Sept. 25, 1919 to William W. and Grace G. Morton Hayes. She died Apr. 4, 1995 and is buried in Milford Cemetery, Milford, IA.

Sgt. Crouse served in World War II with the U.S. Army WACs as a staff chauffeur at Ft. Adams, Rhode Island.
