Decorah -- Cpl. Kay Courtney, daughter of Mike Courtney, a member of the Wac, writing from England on a trip to London, tells of buying a compact for her sister. It had London on it and cost $7 but it was made of paper. The three cornered scarfs that are commonly worn over the head in America are priced at $8. But what topped off the visit was a luncheon at the Cafe de L'Europe where the menu sounded like Greek but ended up being plain veal and potatoes.
