Des Moines in the Services
Mary Josephine Cosgrove, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.F. Cosgrove, 809 Fremont st., was commissioned an ensign in the WAVES upon completion of the midshipman's school at Northampton, Mass. She has been assigned to duty in the strict operations office, San Diego, Cal.
