Lt. Loretta M. Conroy Complimented at Party Given By Olive Matt

Miss Olive Matt gave a 7:30 supper party at the H.A. Matt home last night in honor of 2nd Lieut. Loretta M. Conroy, who is home on leave from Dyersburg, Tenn. There were places for twelve at a table appointed in the colors of blue and pink. The spring flowers and lighted tapers were also in these colors. Miss Matt presented Lieut. Conroy with a gift.

Two other guests, Mrs. Ervin Pudenz of Audubon and Mrs Vernon Heithoff, were presented with showers of gifts by the group.

First Lieutenant Loretta M. Conroy left Monday night to report back at the Regional hospital, Salina Kan., after a week's leave. She had been called to Omaha by the serious illness of her brother-in-law, Leo Spieker, whose condition is now reported "fair" at St. Joseph's hospital. Lt. Conroy also visited her father, J.F. Conroy, and other relatives in Carroll.
