Reinbeck - Pvt. Evelyn J. Connor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hornig, Reinbeck, recently completed an orientation course designed to bridge the gap between training in the states and actual work at an air service command station in England. Before entering the army air forces she was employed as an auxiliary military police by th Green River ordnance depot in Dixon, Ill.

Cpl. Evelyn Conner, a member of the Wac, arrived in New York Tuesday morning from the European theater where she had been serving for some time, and telephoned her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hornig, Tuesday evening, that she expects a discharge at Fort Sheridan, Ill after having been overseas for one year.
