Loyce McCord Connell was born Sept. 25, 1906 to Charles Perry and Viola Mahala McCord. She died Feb. 23, 1978 and is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Warrenton, NC.
Sgt. Connell served in World War II with the U.S. Army WACs 6718th Headquarters Platoon, Mediterranean Theatre of Operations. She was married to Thomas Grant Connell. Chief Connell was born Aug. 20, 1905. He served in World War II with the U.S. Navy. He died Dec. 11, 1973 and is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Warrenton, NC.
