The Rev. D. A. Gorman officiated in the double ring ceremony, in the presence of close relatives and friends of the couple.

Attends Sister

Miss Darlene Conaway attended her sister as maid of honor and Sgt. Vernon Brandt served as best man.

The bride wore the white dress uniform of the WAVES and a corsage of talisman roses and sweet peas. Her maid of honor wore a beige suite and her corsage was also of roses and sweet peas.

Mrs. Conaway, mother of the bride, wore a navy sheer suit with a corsage of sweet peas and roses and the bridegroom’s mother wore a black dress with a similar corsage.

Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s mother. The bride’s cake, topped with miniature soldier and bride, centered the table, and flowers were used as decoration around the rooms.

Later Sergeant and Mrs. Ingertson left on a short wedding trip.

Prior to entering the service, the bride, a graduate of Lincoln high school, was employed at Spurgeons and the theater here. She has been in the WAVES about four months and is now stationed at Vero Beach, Fla.

Sergeant Ingertson recently returned from 18 months duty with the 8th air force in England. He has been in service three years and nine months, and will report at Sioux Falls, S.D., upon completion of his 30 day furlough.
