She's a Wave
Manchester, Ia. -- Ethel G, Cocking of Manchester has reported at Cedar Falls for training as a Wave. She had been manager of Black's beauty salon at Waterloo for the last two years.

MANCHESTER VISITOR
Manchester, Ia. -- Miss Ethel G. Cocking of this city, now a third class petty officer in the Waves, has been visiting relatives here this week. Miss Cocking, a former beauty shop operator here, has just completed an aviation machinist mate course at Memphis, Tenn., and will now be stationed at Bunker Hill, Ind., on active duty servicing planes.
