Faith Alene Blunt

Miss Faith Alene Blunt of Charles City was commissioned an ensign in the USNR, Oct. 24, having completed training at the naval reserve midshipmen's school of Northampton, Mass., and has been assigned to duty at naval supply depot, Scotia, N.Y. Ensign Blunt is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.C. Blunt. She attended Iowa State Teachers college, before graduating with a BA degree. Before joining the women's reserve she was employed at Reynolds Community high school, Reynolds, Ill., and Tennessee Valley authority, Knoxville, Tenn., as assistant instructor in office training. Her father operates the Floyd County abstract office in Charles City.

Ensign Faith A. Blunt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.C. Blunt, has arrived here from the naval supply depot, Scotia, N.Y. She will have 7 days leave before reporting to supply school, graduate school of business administration at Harvard university.
