JOINS NURSES CORPS-- Lt. Edna Barbara Beyer has left for Camp Carson, Colo., to begin her duties in the army nurse corps. Lt. Beyer, who is the daughter of Mrs. Maude Beyer of Manly, is a graduate of the Mercy hospital school of nursing. She has been a private duty nurse in Mason City and before that was a surgical nurse in the Charles City hospital.
