Army Nurse Corps
Frances R. Berven was born in 1921 to Nels L. and Anna Berven.
She enlisted in the U. S. Army Nursing Corps and took basic training at Fort Des Moines, IA. From there she was transferred to Houston, TX. Previous to that she attended nursing school at Evangelical Deaconess Hospital in Marshalltown, IA, where she was also a member of the WWII Cadet Nursing Corps.

Frances Ruth Berven Lynch was born Nov. 27, 1921 to Nels L. and Anna Obe Berven. She died Oct. 26, 2008 and is buried in Gethsemane Cemetery, Federal Way, WA. She was married to John Dean “Jack” Lynch.
