Miss Dorothy Bennewitz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Bennewitz, of Walcott, will leave next week for Cedar Falls, to take her preliminary training in the United States naval school for the training of women of the WAVES.
Miss Bennewitz passed her final tests on December 8 and Friday received her notification to report for training. She has been employed at the Central Clinic and made her home at the Lend-A Hand club.
