WAC Dog Mascot Adopts Kittens

"Khaki," the nondescript brown dog, who makes claim to being the official mascot of the WAC detachment at the air base, Sioux City, has taken on the responsibility for the welfare of five kittens left homeless by the mother cat when she was run over by a truck. "Khaki" assumed the gravity of the new situation and responsibility in the true soldier spirit by never leaving the scene of duty until properly relieved - or upon hearing the call to mess.
