Paratrooping Dog Is Finally Injured

Here is one injured trooper who will never make the casualty lists. He is the paratrooping dog Geronimo, mascot of Pfc. William S. Landon, 470 S. Grandview avenue, and the scores of other men stationed at the Sedalia army air field, Mo. Geronimo suffered a strained shoulder when he made a parachute jump recently, breaking a record of about 50 jumps without a single mishap. The dog, a German Shepherd, was taken to a veterinary hospital at nearby Guttenberg, although many of his human buddies thought he deserved a cot at the camp facility.
