Buster - Home Town Dog - Makes Good

This week Ernest Reynolds received a letter from the Quartermaster General of the U. S. Army expressing the appreciation of the Army for his patriotic response in sending his dog, Buster, to Dogs For Defense, Inc. It stated that it was such responses as those made by him that made it possible for this division to meet the Armed Forces requirements of over a thousand dogs per month.

A certificate of appreciation accompanied this letter, also from the Quartermaster General of the U. S. Army, acknowledging that Buster had been given. The certificate carried the official war department seal.
