Norman Eldridge Zahrt was born Jan. 5, 1915 to John Conrad and Elsie May Gould Zahrt. He died July 25, 1945 and is buried in Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, CA.
Capt. Zahrt served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 4th Emergency Rescue Squadron and was MIA/KIA at sea in the Iwo Jima area.
