Tony Richard Zagar was born Aug. 15, 1914 to Joseph and Sylvia Zagar. He died Jan. 9, 1945 and is buried in Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.
Pvt. Zagar served in World War II with the U.S. Army 401st Glider Infantry, 82nd Airborne Division and died of wounds received in action in Belgium while serving his country.
