Edward Philip Yungwirth was born July 22, 1912 to J. F. and Antonia Maitz Yungwirth. He died Feb. 17, 1945 and is buried in U.S. Armed Forces Cemetery, Manila No. 1, Manila, Philippine Islands.
Sgt. Yungwirth served in World War II with the U.S. Army and died of wounds received in action with his unit in the Santa Tomas Internee Camp in Manila, Philippine Islands.
