Wilbur Frank Yancy was born June 17, 1921 to John and Jessie Lakin Yancy. He died Sept. 26, 1978 and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
He served in the U.S. Army in World War II in New Guinea, Luzon and Leyte.
