Orlin Frederick Wyse was born Mar. 1, 1920 to Fred L. and Mina Delilah Graber Wyse. He died Jan. 3, 1945 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Lt. Wyse served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 424th Bomber Squadron, 307th Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/KIA/FOD on Guadalcanal and was awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters.
