Woodrow Wilson “Woody" Wissler was born July 3, 1917 to Edwin A. and Ollie Cranston Wissler. He died Oct. 10, 1944 and is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Lt. Wissler served in World War II with the U.S. Army 19th Armored Infantry, 14th Armored Division. He died in the service of his country in Hawaii.
