John L. Willsher was born Jan. 21, 1920 to Thomas H. and Clara Ellen Gibbs Willsher. He died Sept. 15, 1944 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.
Sgt. Willsher served in World War II with the U.S. Army 47th Infantry Battalion, 5th Armored Division and was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.
