Hans Harrison Williams was born July 19, 1918 to John W. and Vera Williams. He died June 6, 1945 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines. He has a cenotaph in Linwood Park Cemetery, Boone, IA.
Capt. Williams served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 400th Bomber Squadron, 90th Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/KIA in the Philippines. He was awarded the Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters.
