Lt. James White Died Saturday in Denver

Mrs. W. C. Burleson Saturday morning received a message from her niece, Miss Marian White saying that her brother, Lt. James A. White, died at 2 a.m. Saturday in Fitzsimmons hospital, Denver.

Lt. White was inducted into the army three years ago and took officer training at Camp Lee, Va. He was a son of Mrs. Eleanor White. The family formerly lived here and Lieutenant White was born here in 1902. He would have been 43 years of age March 3. He attended the schools here and was prominent as a boy in the Boy Scouts troop under Murray McMurray. The family was widely known in Webster City, moving to Wichita, Kansas years ago. Miss Marian White, formerly a Freeman-Journal employee, lives there with her mother, but had been called to Denver several days ago due to the serious condition of her brother. The latter had been operated on in September for a mastoid and had been in the hospital since. The body will be buried at Wichita.
