Jack M. Wheeler was born May 3, 1923 to Arch and Dorothy McClelland Wheeler. He died Nov. 9, 1942 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, England.
Sgt. Wheeler served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 367th Bomber Squadron, 306th Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/FOD/KIA in France and awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.
