Robert Otho Wepel was born June 18, 1924 to Heiko H. and Tillie Huisinga Wepel. He died Feb. 22, 1966 and is buried in Palm Desert Memorial Cemetery, Las Vegas, NV.
Pvt. Wepel was with the 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Division in World War II. He saw duty in the Philippines and Japan.
