Walter William ’Walt’ Welsh was born June 20, 1915 to Robert Emmett and Martha Helene Butzin Welsh. He died Apr. 28, 1987 and is buried in Cameron Memory Gardens, Cameron, MO.
Sgt. Welsh served as a truck driver with the 33rd Infantry Division, 210th Field Artillery Battalion in World War II. He served in both the European and Pacific theaters.
