Hendrick Marius “Harry” Volkers was born Oct. 10, 1921 to Albert and Femmigje Wissink Volkers. He died Jan. 31, 1945 and is buried in Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial, Hamm, Luxembourg.
Pvt. Volkers served in World War II with the U.S. Army 12th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Battalion, 4th Infantry Division and was MIA/KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.
