Wilbur Andrew Van Dokkumburg, SN 3226286, was born on April 22, 1927 at Sioux Center, Iowa and was still living in Sioux Center prior to entering the Navy on June 5, 1945 at Sioux City, Iowa. He departed for foreign service on Sept. 26, 1945, returned on July 26, 1946, and was honorably discharged on Aug. 4, 1946. His application for bonus pay was filed on Aug. 24, 1949, for which he received $175.00.
